To ensure your photos reflect your best self, we typically schedule sessions at least two weeks in advance. This allows time to thoughtfully prepare — whether that means selecting the right outfits, scheduling a haircut, or coordinating with a stylist.

Preparing ahead of your session makes a meaningful difference in the final results. Together we’ll select a date and time that works best for both you and the photographer, allowing flexibility to choose the ideal setting and conditions for your shoot.

Once your session is confirmed, you can schedule any hair or makeup appointments needed for the day. We also recommend having a simple backup plan in place in case weather requires us to adjust the timing.

Taking a little time to prepare ensures your photo session feels relaxed, confident, and well planned — allowing you to focus on enjoying the experience.

Your photos will become your calling card on dating sites, so what you wear plays an important role in how you present yourself. The goal is not only to look great in your photos, but to help you discover what works best for you — giving you the confidence to put outfits together for future dates as well.

As part of our concierge process, you’ll meet with a professional stylist who will guide the wardrobe selection process and help coordinate outfits that photograph naturally and confidently.

Men work with a professional Hyde Closet stylist, who can also provide curated clothing pieces delivered specifically for the photo session.

Women work with Erin Gehring of More Than Style, who specializes in preparing clients for online dating photography and helps select flattering silhouettes, colors, and outfit combinations.

Throughout the process, Ann works closely with the stylists to review outfit selections and make any adjustments needed, ensuring everything photographs beautifully while also creating the right balance of colors, styles, and variety across your final images.

Once the wardrobe selections are finalized, Ann shares the outfit choices with the photographer so the session can be thoughtfully planned, including the order of outfits and locations to create the strongest possible images.

After your photo session, your images are lightly processed and placed into a private proof gallery where you can review the results of your shoot. The galleries shown here are examples of the type of proof galleries our clients receive, giving you a sense of the variety captured during a session — from relaxed headshots to ¾ portraits and full-length photographs taken across different locations and natural moments.

Your proof gallery typically includes a curated collection of professional online dating profile photos captured in a variety of poses and environments throughout the session. Each outfit usually includes approximately 20 images, allowing you to review a broad range of expressions, body language, and settings before narrowing down the strongest choices.

As part of our concierge service, the gallery is first carefully reviewed to identify the images that are most effective for an online dating profile. If you are working with a dating coach or matchmaker, they are welcome to share their perspective as well, and you are always encouraged to select the photos you personally connect with.

In the final step, all feedback is thoughtfully considered and the images that best represent you — confident, natural, and approachable — are selected to create a compelling and authentic online dating profile.
