| What we say |
| If you’re a single parent looking to stop being single, SoloParentsMatch could have the solution you’re looking for. It’s not the most straightforward site in the world but it does have all the bells and whistles you need to make sure that you don’t waste your time writing to people who don?’t have what you want or who don’t want what you have. And let’s face it, when you’ve got a child (or two or three), time is one thing that you don?’t have.
It has to be said that the site doesn’t look good. All that blue and orange looks too much like mixed up baby food and on the home page, you’re not too sure where to click first. So start with a search -- it’s always best. That will give you a chance to see how many hot prospects there are in your area, and let you check out just how hot they are.
The profiles are very easy to read but it might have been nice to see a few more details about the kids. This is, after all, a site for single parents and just how big your Brady Bunch is going to become could be an issue. Fortunately, most people recognize that and the self-descriptions just about always mention the child, letting you know whether you could be getting yourself a step-son, a step-daughter or a step-football team.
On the plus side, the quick search includes the five most important options (including recent activity, a useful addition) and the CyberCupid system sends messages to your email and even your mobile phone whenever you get a match. Both of these are pretty handy and make growing your family a great deal easier.
