LookBetterOnline takes great pride in the quality of our customer deliverables. Our end product is the direct result of the skill and effort of our great photographers. We recruit and use only the most talented photographers.

We evaluate our photographers initially by the quality of the work they have done in the past. After that, your ability to consistently produce images with quality commensurate with that of your submitted samples, your reliability, your "manner" with customers and your professional attitude will all determine where you go from there.

Our photographers come in all "sizes and shapes" but all have a single common denominator: their exemplary skill with a camera and the ability to work well with people. If that description fits you, consider supplementing your income as a contract photographer for LookBetterOnline!

Your Style

We look for photographers who can render subject images that are casual, relaxed, friendly and inviting. These are qualities most highly valued in online dating photos. Stiff, formal, glamorous, cheesy, stark and rigid are adjectives that if applied to your work will immediately disqualify you.

Experience and Background

• Skill with a camera is more important than years of experience. We look for the best talent. If that's you, we need to talk.
• You should have an online portfolio so we can evaluate your work.
• You should obviously have skill shooting people. Product, travel or commercial experience only need not apply unless you can demonstrate with real samples your skill with a camera photographing people.

Studio Photography

• Skill with a camera is what we value most. Having your own studio is preferred, not a requirement. Some of our best photographers work on location only.
• We place no limits or constraints on the type of studio or facilities you use but the space must be easily accessible for customers, clean, safe and well maintained. Home studios are okay, but the rules still hold: must be accessible, clean and safe.

Location Photography

• Should have good light control and tools and be flexible and creative when shooting on location.
• If you do location only, you should have dependable transportation.

Equipment

• Your equipment should be digital and you should be comfortable and proficient with the equipment you use.
• We don't care about the number of lenses you have, or the brand of equipment you use. We care about the quality of the images you produce.
