Laura was born and raised in East Tennessee, and now lives in Middle Tennessee with her fiance and her cat. She has been taking photographs since she received a disc-film camera for Christmas at the tender age of 5.

| Portraiture is a collaborative effort, and I help my clients feel more comfortable by actively involving them in the process. I don't just take pictures of my clients, I work with them to create beautiful portraits. |

Education:
I attended the New England School of Photography from 2000-2002 and graduated from there with a degree in portrait photography. While at NESOP, I studied under Arthur Rainville, one of New England's most famous wedding and portrait photographers. When I returned to East Tennessee, I studied fine art photography with world famous photographer Mike Smith, whose work is found in the collections of Elton John and the Museum of Modern Art.

My studio is in my home, so it is an inviting and comfortable environment. I am close to the Middle Tennessee State University Campus. As studios go, it is on the small side, so it's perfect for achieving an intimate, personal look. |
