It's been close to thirty years since Daniel first picked up a camera, and he's had a love affair with still and moving pictures ever since. 20+ years in documentary film and video production give him a unique eye for capturing 'the moment' and he still gets excited when his candid shots tell a story instead of just looking good.

| Rather than telling someone "stand there," "move your arm" or "tilt your head," Daniel prefers to co-create a photo. By reviewing the images during the photo shoot, he makes the client feels they''re as much a part of the process as he is. "When we work together," Daniel says, "the final result is much stronger." |

Studio:
I have a studio located in Riverwest, but as my work matures, I grow to appreciate natural light more and more. My studio is portable, and I much prefer location shoots--after all, the world is a great studio with better backdrops than I could ever create on my own. I feel that by working with and augmenting natural light, the photographs become more natural and less "staged" than if it were done in a studio like a school portrait. |
